Welcome!
This is my first post. It’s taken me a while to get this blog going, but it has finally happened! I’m starting this blog as an outlet for all of my creative, crazy ideas, and to share things I’ve found useful that others have written. I thought at first I’d have a more targeted niche than the “mommy” crowd, but when I started making a list of all of my ideas, it really was all over the map, and will probably appeal to this demographic the most. My 6-year-old daughter and I do lots of arts & crafts, sewing, cooking, and gardening (she actually wants to start her own blog, but I told her I’d give her a corner here, at least for now). We are very big on thrifting, reusing, repurposing, and recycling. And my SO and I do lots of DIY projects, inside and outside. Oh, and we run an IT consulting business together, so I’ll probably have some computer, small business, marketing, and accounting tips too. Maybe he’ll even write a guest post or two.
So, I hope you’ll come along with me on this journey. It should be lots of fun!
i like your blog cynthia caldwell!
Thank you, Emma!
don’t thank me it was nothing!
I just found your blog on a Facebook post. I get used toys from thrift stores and clean them, repair them, and donate to two Local charities. I make underprivileged kids happy, show them there are good people in the world, and keep toys out of the landfill. Several people have been donating used items too. Every child gets a book or coloring books and crayons. I enjoyed your posts and hope you have time to write more. Some of the toys are dolls and they require wardrobes! I am a retired grandmother and my grands have outgrown toys so God gave me this to do.
